Case Study – Tomy European Showroom

The Brief

Tomy made a significant investment in a new showroom in hall 12:2 at the Nuremburg Messe, a hall populated by key players in the global toy market. The showroom needed a stand out presence and a flexible layout. The showroom is used twice a year: for toy previews in November and for the main Spielwarenmesse (Toy Fair) in February.

The space needed to engage customers, create a comfortable atmosphere whilst showcasing their toy ranges and facilitate demonstrations. Displays also need to be easy to update to accommodate new products, twice a year.

The Solution

2BP created an open and relaxed environment with flexible and retractable display features for each range of toys. Next to the demonstration areas, wall mounted displays showcased the full range of products and in store packaging options as well as retail plannograms for differing sales situations. Interchangeable graphics panels allowed for a complete refresh whenever required.

Liaison with the German venue, health and safely and utilities was required for the build which was handed over on time and on budget.
