2BP’s Ironman

Congratulations to 2BP Project Manager, Harry Prince on completing his first Ironman challenge in 12 hours 56 mins.

Yesterday, Harry embarked on one of the hardest one-day endurance races in the world, covering a staggering 140 miles from start to finish. Harry’s race began on Tenby’s North Beach with a 2.4 mile swim in Carmarthen Bay, followed by a 112 mile bike ride along the Pembrokeshire coast and finished with a grueling 26.2 mile marathon around the streets of Tenby.

So what are the qualities needed to become an Ironman?

– Ability to balance a jammed packed schedule

– Self-discipline and belief

– Focus on the goal

– Handling adversity and pressure

– Persistence and determination to get the job done.

Exactly the same qualities needed in a great Project Manager – no wonder he SMASHED IT!

Congratulations Harry, we’re all proud of you!
